As proud Canadians we recognize Remembrance Day, originally called Armistice Day, every 11th of November at 11 a.m. It marks the end of hostilities during the first World War and provides an opportunity to recall all those who have served in the nation’s defence.
We will honour those heroes with a bagpipe ceremony and a moment of silence at 11 a.m. on the trade show floor.
Last but certainly not least: never forget the contributions and sacrifices of the men and women who have served Canada in times of war, military conflict and peace – especially those who did not return.
