Condominium Management Regulatory Authority of Ontario
John has been involved in the management of condominiums on a full-time basis for the past 43years and he has held his current position as CEO of Crossbridge Condominium Services Ltd. (formerly Brookfield) for the past 19 years. He has been teaching the Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario Condominium Law Course in-house at Crossbridge for the past 13 years. John is a former Director and President of the ACMO, the first Co-chair of the annual ACMO/CCI Condominium Conference and Chair of the ACMO/CCI Legislative Review Committee that consulted with the Province on the 1998 Condominium Act. Mr. Oakes was involved in the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services' technical consultations on reserve funds, insurance and licensing and was a member of the Condominium Management Regulatory Authority Advisory Working Group. He is currently a Director on the interim Board of Directors of the Condominium Management Regulatory Authority of Ontario.
