Murray Johnson, RCM

Murray entered residential property management in 1992 following over 10 years of International Project Management and Facility Management with a large multi-national manufacturing firm. Joining Crossbridge (formerly Brookfield) in June 2008 after developing his profession as a Manager, and progressing to the role of Regional Manager for other respected condominium management firms, Murray continues to expand on his property management experience. In 2010 Murray was promoted to Vice President of Client Service Development with Crossbridge.

With experience in ISO 9000, Employee Training and Development, and Organizational Development, one of Murray's roles includes providing in-house Tarion and Performance Audit consulting to Crossbridge managed Properties, Managers and Directors. Specializing in procedural development and leading successful client performance audit negotiations, Murray brings a wealth of experience to the Crossbridge Tarion Warranty process. His participation on the Tarion Common Element Construction Practice Guidelines committee and input into the current Tarion Performance Audit process has benefited Crossbridge clients and improved condominium support across the province

With his in-depth knowledge of energy saving strategies, Murray was recognized in 2012 as one of Canada's top four Sustainability Champions in energy efficiency projects by Building Strategies and Sustainability magazine. Murray continues to lead Crossbridge's energy portfolio to maintain their position as the recognized leader for the development of long term client energy reduction planning supporting provincial environmental targets. As a CCI board director, Government Relations committee member, Chair of the Volunteer Resource Committee, Sitting member of the CCI Tarion Advisory Committee and a member of ACMO, Murray continues to be active in supporting condominium communities throughout Ontario.

Murray is a frequent speaker at the annual condominium conference and is often seen instructing at many CCI educational seminars and courses. To add to his busy schedule, Murray is also a regular contributor to the many condominium publications in southern Ontario. In October 2016 Murray was the recipient of the ACMO Special Recognition Award presented for special achievements that have positively impacted the condominium industry in Ontario.
